Honoring those who dedicate themselves to excellence

In 1993, the Construction Equipment Hall of Fame was created to honor the pioneering individuals who invented, managed, built and led the construction equipment industry. The Association of Equipment Manufacturers is proud of this important tradition.

The Hall's mission is to recognize, celebrate and preserve the history of outstanding leaders in the construction equipment industry—those whose inventions, ideas, leadership and courage have made supreme contributions to the industry and to our quality of life.

Inductees in the Construction Equipment Hall of Fame exemplify five guiding principles:

  • Innovation
  • Industry Contributions
  • Leadership
  • Corporate Citizenship/Social Responsibility
  • Sustainability

Yesterday, today and tomorrow—enriching a proud legacy

Through recognition of its inductees and their achievements, the Hall of Fame strives to instill a deeper public understanding of and appreciation for the role that construction equipment has played—and must continue to play—in future successes and the continued growth of our unparalleled standard of living.

Now, it is the time to face the challenges of rebuilding and renewing our overburdened infrastructure, navigating a rapidly changing global economy and surging into the 21st century with strength and confidence. In no small way, the construction equipment industry and its leadership will steer the way to increased employment, a higher gross national product and a safer transportation system for everyone. The example of Construction Equipment Hall of Fame members is a beacon for the workforce development necessary for future excellence in the construction equipment industry.

We all must strive to ensure adequate attention and funding is made available to meet the needs of tomorrow. Great accomplishments are on the horizon as our industry works with corporations, government agencies and the public to build a better, more competitive and more productive society.
